Our founder, the father of the ABDUS PERFUME family — Our founder, our father. Where our story begins.

Our story

Rooted in Sylhet. Built in the UAE.

Our family's story with oud began long before ABDUS PERFUME. In Sylhet, Bangladesh, a region long known for its agar trees, our father worked with oud and agarwood, the fragrant heartwood prized across the Arab world.

He travelled and traded across Southeast Asia, then arrived in Dubai, where he sold wood and traditional Emirati fragrance such as bakhoor. Along the way he built lasting relationships with suppliers in Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. Those relationships still bring us Hindi and Sylheti Bangladesh woods today.

We carry that legacy forward through manufacturing: perfume oils, attars, private label and wholesale from Ajman. The craft has changed in scale, but not in its respect for the wood.
